MEDUVENT Standard

Ventilate Wherever You Go

MEDUVENT Standard with filter

Wide variety of potential applications

Long distances or transport times? No power or oxygen supply? With a ventilator that maintains ventilation for 7.5 hours*, even without an external supply of compressed gas, you don’t need to worry about the technology. MEDUVENT Standard is one of the smallest turbine-driven ventilators in the world and makes you independent of oxygen cylinders. If required, however, you can still administer additional oxygen to the person undergoing treatment at any time via the universally compatible oxygen inlet tube. This allows inspiratory oxygen concentrations of 21 % to 100 % to be achieved.

In emergency response, the speed at which you initiate therapy on that person is often of key importance for the success of their therapy. MEDUVENT Standard enables you to ventilate ergonomically in a controlled and efficient manner - without having to set ventilation parameters by a complicated process. As a result, the patient is taken care of as quickly as possible, safely, and in accordance with guidelines.

Six benefits of MEDUVENT Standard

  • Loss-free oxygen supply from 21 % O₂ to 100 % O₂
  • Pressure and flow curves displayed for clear monitoring
  • Treatment by means of volume-controlled and pressure-controlled ventilation
  • With a weight of just 2.1 kg and a volume of 3.5 l, one of the smallest, lightest emergency medicine and transport ventilators in the world
  • Innovative turbine technology: Works with and without an oxygen supply
  • Protected by an alarm system, automatic function check, and hygiene filter

Options

Integrated ventilation modes
Other available options
  • S-IPPV (Synchronized Intermittent Positive Pressure Ventilation): Assisted volume-controlled ventilation with a trigger time slot of 100 % of expiratory time.
  • SIMV (Synchronized Intermittent Mandatory Ventilation): Assisted volume-controlled ventilation with a trigger time slot of 20 % of expiratory time.
  • FlowCurve Pro: The FlowCurve Pro option includes flow measurement and Assisted Spontaneous Breathing (ASB) pressure support. This assists the patient’s respiratory effort.
  • Pressure-controlled ventilation modes: The option Pressure-controlled ventilation modes with the ventilation modes PCV, aPCV, BiLevel + ASB and PRVC + ASB improves the supply of ventilated patients.
  • CBRN (chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear hazards): The CBRN option together with the CBRN connection kit facilitates attending incidents under CBRN conditions. This enables ventilation to be performed in unconventional emergency situations.

Adapt oxygen supply flexibly

MEDUVENT Standard with pressure reducer

If you want to supply your patients with 100 % oxygen and then adapt the dose, simply connect the inhalation outlet of the pressure reducer to the oxygen inlet of MEDUVENT Standard using the globally-compatible oxygen inlet tube. You can then set the desired flow.

As MEDUVENT Standard runs purely on electricity, and not on compressed gas, the device does not use any oxygen to run. If you do not have any medical oxygen available but still want to ventilate with more than 21 % oxygen, you can use concentrator oxygen. To do this, just change the operating gas and connect the concentrator or the oxygen cylinder to MEDUVENT Standard.

It goes without saying that you can also operate MEDUVENT Standard with ambient air, without any oxygen source at all. The hygiene filter cleans the air used, removing viruses, bacteria, and particles, thus protecting both people and the device from contamination. You can select the CBRN (chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear hazards) option to perform ventilation in unconventional situations.
