We have put together here some answers to FAQs about the application process.

Application documents

You can find our current vacancies under Job Offers on our website.

Click the “APPLY” button to access our careers portal. Here you simply need to enter your contact details, your resume, and upload a short cover letter if you like. You can also link your XING profile to simplify the process.

All you need to do is answer the two questions at the bottom and click the “Send application” button.

Naturally we’d be delighted to receive your speculative application at any time.

Absolutely. If you’re interested in several positions, you can apply for all of them at the same time.

We need to store your personal data so we can process your application. To do so we need you to acknowledge your consent by clicking the relevant box. Once the application process is complete, all your data will be deleted as per the statutory provisions.

You can withdraw your application by emailing us at karriere@weinmann-emt.de. If you have created an account in our softgarden applicant management software, you can withdraw your application by pressing the “withdraw” button.

Application process

Once you have applied for a position, you will initially get a confirmation via e-mail that we have received your application. We normally process your application within a few weeks and you always receive a response to your application.

We of course always keep you up to date on the status of your application. Given the large number of applications in the initial application step, you will appreciate that unfortunately we cannot provide you with individual feedback if you are rejected at this stage. If you attended a second interview we will normally call you to provide you with personal feedback on the interview.

It is important to us that we manage to hire staff that fit our company. For that reason we take time to complete our multistage application process.

After we have received your application, we check your documents carefully. For certain positions we conduct a brief telephone interview before proceeding. This gives both parties an opportunity gain a first impression.

 

If your resume and our discussion, where applicable, have aroused our interest, we will invite you to a personal meeting with the relevant manager and conduct a video call. You learn about our values and culture, and we explain to you our expectations with regard to the vacancy. Of course, we are also delighted to learn more about you. If both parties can envisage working together, we arrange a second personal interview. At the second stage, you also meet the relevant department head and gain an impression of the workplace. Usually one of our managing directors will also be present for part of the interview in the second round. Make good use of this opportunity to have a member of the senior management team answer your questions personally.

 

As part of the interview we analyze together how your profile fits in with our vacancy. At the same time we discuss how we will proceed and keep you up to date on the specific next steps.

If we can both envisage working together, we provide you with a contract offer that we discuss with you in detail. Afterward you receive the contract to sign. We then plan the next steps for a successful start in your new job and provide you in good time with all the important information and a personal induction plan.

Data protection

Your documents are recorded in softgarden, our centralized applicant management system. This means that our recruiters can consult your application documents. If your application has aroused our interest, we forward your documents to the responsible manager in the specialist department. If the initial interview leads to a second round, the department head and, where applicable, one of the managing directors, gets to see your documents. In conclusion, only individuals involved in the application process who therefore have a legitimate interest are able to consult all or part of your documents.

The protection of your personal data that is processed throughout the application process is important to us. We guarantee that your data is collected, processed, and used strictly in accordance with the relevant data privacy regulations. After the application process, your data is deleted in a timely manner.
