WEINMANN Connect is a web portal that digitally connects to the MEDUCORE Standard². After registering free of charge, WEINMANN Connect gives you an overview of your connected devices.
When you apply for or recover your login access, personal data is requested. The data is processed on the basis of Art. 6(1)(1)(b) GDPR (contract performance). The data collected is compared with data that is already available to prevent cases of fraud, and stored within the context of the existing business relationship. 1.2. Online Presence and Website Optimization

1.2.1. Logging

Every time this website is accessed, logs are created and processed for statistical purposes, whereby the individual user remains anonymous:

  • Referrer (page with the link you used to access this website)
  • IP address of the terminal device used (to determine the country of origin and to evaluate the provider)
  • Browser, operating system, installed plug-ins, and screen resolution
  • Time spent on the website, as well as date and time of access

The data mentioned is processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in accordance with Art. 6(1)(1)(f) GDPR by us for the following purposes:

  • To ensure a smooth connection is established to the website
  • To ensure convenient use of our website
  • To evaluate the system security and stability
  • For further administrative purposes

We reserve the right to check this data retrospectively if we become aware of concrete evidence of illegal use. The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer necessary to achieve its purpose, at the latest however after 50 months.

Sometimes we use service providers as part of order processing in accordance with Article 28 GDPR; the website is hosted and maintained by Telekom in this way. 3.1. Right of Access, Art. 15 GDPR

You have the right to request information on whether and to what extent your personal data is processed (in particular purpose of processing, recipient of the data, storage duration, etc.).

3.2. Right to Rectification, Art. 16 GDPR

You have the right to request the rectification of your stored data if this should be incorrect or incomplete. This includes the right to completion through supplementary declarations or notifications.

3.3. Right to Erasure, Art. 17 GDPR

You have the right to request your personal data is erased. This is possible, for example, when the data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, or the data is to be erased due to legal obligations. In individual cases this right may be excluded, however.

3.4. Right to Restriction of Processing, Art. 18 GDPR

You have the right to have the processing of your personal data restricted. This is possible, for example, if your data has been collected incorrectly, or is being processed unlawfully. In the event of restriction of processing, the data may only be processed in narrowly defined cases.

3.5. Right to Data Portability, Art. 20 GDPR

You have the right to request the data concerning you issued in a common electronic, machine-readable data format to yourself or a controller appointed by you if you have provided this data yourself.

3.6. Right to Object, Art. 21 GDPR

You have the right to object to the processing of the personal data concerning you at any time with future effect, for reasons arising from your particular situation. This applies as long as the data is processed to preserve legitimate interests (see Art. 6(1)(1)(e),(f) GDPR). If you object, it shall be checked whether the legal prerequisites for the processing of your data apply, and if this is not the case, all further processing of your data shall cease.

3.7. Right to Lodge a Complaint with a Supervisory Authority, Art. 77 GDPR

You have the right to lodge a complaint at any time to the applicable supervisory authority of the Union or member states regarding possible violations of data protection regulations.
