We will inform you about the processing of your personal data (personal data is all data that relates to you as a natural personal):
Data Processing
We – WEINMANN Emergency Medical Technology GmbH + Co. KG – process the personal data with regard to your person from our legitimate interest to fulfil the contractual relationship for the use of WEINMANN Connect on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (1) (f) GDPR as a contractual partner of your company. Processing for the purposes of accounting and cost accounting as well as for the fulfilment of legal obligations (e.g. commercial and tax law) is based on Art. 6 (1) (1) (c) GDPR. The business relationship exists between us and your company. If you act as a natural person (e.g. as a sole trader or self-employed person), your data will be processed for the implementation of pre-contractual measures and the fulfilment of contracts on the legal basis of Art. 6 (1) (1) (b) GDPR.
As part of external requirements (for example in the framework of customs/tax law), personal data concerning you may be compared with lists published by authorities.
Furthermore, data can also be processed for legitimate purposes as per Art. 6(1)(1)(f) GDPR – such as marketing, internal market research and marketing purposes, internal company statistics. The legitimate interests are, in particular, the optimization of processes and in order to attribute costs correctly; your interests, fundamental rights, and freedoms will be taken properly into account here.
We will use your data in order to send you information about products, services, events, and other useful information about our company only insofar as you have granted your consent to this or we have informed you properly as part of the data collection as per Art. 7 of Gesetz gegen den unlauteren Wettbewerb (German Act against Unfair Competition – UWG) / Art. 107 of Telekommunikationsgesetz (Austrian Telecommunications Act – TKG). You can object to us sending you this at any time with effect for the future.
The data you have provided is required in order to carry out the contractual relationship. Without this data, we cannot fulfill the contract concluded with your company.
You can log in using your personal login in the protected area of our website. Every time you log in, logs are created and processed for statistical purposes. The logs contain the following information:
- Referrer (page with the link you used to access this website)
- Search terms (in the case of search machines as the referrer)
- IP address
- Browser, operating system, installed plugins, and screen resolution
- Time spent on the website
The data mentioned is processed by us on the basis of our legitimate interest as per Art. 6(1)(1)(f) GDPR only for the following purposes:
- To ensure a smooth connection is established to the website
- To ensure convenient use of our website
- To evaluate the system security and stability
- For further administrative purposes
We reserve the right to check this data retrospectively if we become aware of concrete evidence of illegal use. The data is deleted immediately once it is no longer necessary to achieve the purpose.
Data Disclosure
Your personal data may be disclosed to external service providers (for example tax advisors, legal advisors). External IT service providers may (as part of order data processing as per Article 28 GDPR) access your data. The service providers are bound by instructions here – this has been ensured by corresponding contracts.
Storage and Erasure of Data
Your data will be stored for as long as is required for the relevant above-mentioned purpose. Your data will be stored in the ERP and CRM system for the purposes of retention. The data will be erased at the latest once the contractual relationship has ended and once the legal retention periods from civil, commercial, and tax law have elapsed; insofar as this is not possible, it will be locked.
Your Rights
We inform you that you have the following rights as the data subject as per Article 15 et seqq. GDPR under the conditions defined there: Right of access to the relevant personal data and to rectification or erasure or restriction of processing or the right to object to the processing and the right to data portability. As per Article 77 GDPR, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. If the processing is based on Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR or Art. 9(2)(a) GDPR (consent), you also have the right to withdraw the consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of the processing that has taken place based on the consent up to the point of withdrawal.
