From Product Manager to Head of Marketing + Clinical Affairs | Vanessa Kühn
Vanessa has been part of WEINMANN since 2012. What began as an entry into product management led her through senior positions to her current role as Head of Marketing & Clinical Affairs. During this time, she has played a decisive role in numerous product launches, and the perception of WEINMANN in the field of emergency medicine.
Female leadership at WEINMANN: enabling development
Vanessa’s path to WEINMANN began with her degree in medical technology and her previous professional experience in the field of respiratory care. What followed was continuous development with increasing responsibility – both professionally and personally. Over the years, Vanessa has been involved in, amongst other things, MEDUMAT Transport, the US approval of MEDUMAT Easy CPR, various updates for MEDUMAT Standard², and the market launch of CCSV in 2019. “I am particularly proud to see how CCSV has established itself internationally – including a strong network of users and scientists worldwide,” she says.
Over time, Vanessa took over the leadership of the newly established Marketing & Clinical Affairs team – a position that was kept open for her even during her one-year parental leave. For her, this was a strong sign of trust and appreciation.
Today, she embodies a style of leadership that fosters development, delegates responsibility and embraces new perspectives. She is particularly proud of building her team and of how strategic marketing has evolved within WEINMANN’s corporate strategy.
