Software Update 3.9 for MEDUCORE Standard2 available now

Summer 2024 marks publication of a software update for the MEDUCORE Standard2 monitor and defibrillator. Alongside numerous new functions, several quality-improving concepts have also been implemented.
New functions improve ease of use
This latest software update incorporates many key functions that significantly improve the ease of operation and versatility of MEDUCORE Standard2.
Users with the corresponding authorizations now have the option to independently configure WIFI network settings directly on the device. These new features make configuration and administration of network settings much easier.
Moreover, software version 3.9 now additionally supports the Indonesian and Romanian languages. This extends the number of language options the software has to offer, thereby enabling even more users worldwide to operate the devices in their native language.
Another software update highlight is its introduction of an automatic changeover to daylight saving time and back. This function can be activated independently of the respective time zone in which the device is operated. These settings additionally provide the option of synchronizing the system time automatically via WEINMANN Connect. That means that all devices connected with WEINMANN Connect receive the current time via a centralized time service.
Yet another feature is that the connection of the device with WEINMANN Connect is also checked during the function check. This comprises both the WLAN connection as well as the Internet connection to WEINMANN Connect, thus ensuring reliable and stable connectivity.
These improvements not only contribute significantly to enhancing the efficiency and ease of operation of the devices, but also provide the user with even better service.
Additional new features improve user-friendliness

Additionally, the loading times have been markedly reduced when the user calls up the session archive. Users benefit from faster and more efficient data processing, which noticeably streamlines work processes.
Another useful feature is the option to view the history of blood pressure measurements even after the device has been rebooted. This is possible as long as the reboot takes place within 30 seconds. This function ensures that important measured data are accessible at all times and do not get lost.
The user guidance has likewise been adapted, specifically for exiting the AED mode. This optimization ensures more intuitive and user-friendly operation of the device.
Moreover, the automatic uploading of service data for newly-registered devices in WEINMANN Connect is now supported as well. This function considerably facilitates the servicing and monitoring of devices while ensuring that up-to-date service data are constantly available.
