RESCUE-PACK Plus: The New Companion for any Emergency Situation

WEINMANN Emergency will be unveiling its latest product, the RESCUE-PACK Plus, at RETTmobil 2023. The versatile backpack makes everyday life easier for emergency medical services since the RESCUE-PACK Plus was developed to allow them to transport standard emergency equipment and a ventilator easily on their back. The backpack ensures users have their hands free if they have to cover long distances on foot or negotiate difficult terrain to reach the scene of the incident.
Intelligent design, high-quality materials, and extra features make the RESCUE-PACK Plus a resilient, reliable companion in daily rescue situations. “Our goal was to make it easier to transport the emergency equipment – especially the accessories for the oxygen therapy and ventilation.” says Kent Fredriksdotter, product manager for RESCUE-PACK Plus. “That’s why it was crucial that the RESCUE-PACK Plus is big enough to safely transport a WEINMANN ventilator or a MEDUCORE Standard2 and also allows the user to operate these devices from the emergency backpack.” The large transparent window shows the screen of the operated device. All alarms can be heard clearly even with the backpack closed. It takes just a few maneuvers to remove the device from the emergency backpack where necessary and operate it as normal.
Extra features
RESCUE-PACK Plus offers numerous features that turn it into more than just an emergency backpack. It includes an integrated charging interface for MEDUMAT Standard², MEDUVENT Standard and MEDUCORE Standard², ensuring a charged device is available for the next session.
RESCUE-PACK Plus was designed for difficult terrain. With the anchor point on the top, the backpack can be roped down easily in hard-to-access areas. To facilitate device handling when transported on stretchers or beds, the RESCUE-PACK Plus attaches securely to bars or equipment rails using tension belts equipped with magnetic closures. The transported device can therefore remain in the backpack while being operated.
