Highlights of the Rettmobil International 2022
New products, workshops, off-road courses – the RETTmobil International is one of the most important events in the blue light scene. The exhibition is also a very special event for WEINMANN Emergency every year.
After the 2-year coronavirus break, it was finally back again this year and the 20th RETTmobil International was able to open its doors. “It was great to be back in Fulda and see many of our customers live and in color again. We exchanged a lot of ideas and were able to inspire ourselves. They were three strenuous, but important days for us”, says Steffen Kruse, Team Leader Application Specialists Central Europe. But not just the personal discussions were particularly pleasing, there were two events for WEINMANN Emergency to celebrate at the same time: 20 years of mobile service and 50 years of MEDUMAT.
Ready, set, go!
On January 2, 2002, the first service vehicle rolled out of our yard. Since then, our service staff have visited numerous customers in order to repair or service their devices. On the RETTmobil, visitors were not only allowed to take a look into the service vehicle, but they were also allowed to take it out for a drive themselves. The car was slightly smaller and faster, but that didn’t bother anyone – on the contrary.
MEDUMAT continues to develop
MEDUMAT (a neologism from the medulla oblongata respiratory center and automat) has already been on the market since 1972. Since then, it has developed rapidly and the emergency medical services industry can no longer be imagined without it. A ventilator that performs so well has naturally also earned a birthday party to mark the occasion. That’s why not only the original MEDUMAT was exhibited, but a large birthday cake was also provided as a treat.
WEINMANN Emergency goes viral
Unfortunately, not everyone was able to have a look at the RETTmobil in person. In order to take our followers along, we pulled out our cellphone cameras as often as possible and reported about the exhibition on Instagram. Here, our Product Managers presented our devices in interviews and our followers were able to walk across the exhibition grounds - at least virtually. You can find all of the videos on our Instagram profile under the Story Highlights.
