Privacy Policy for the Linkedin Fan Page

of WEINMANN Emergency Medical Technology GmbH + Co. KG

WEINMANN Emergency Medical Technology GmbH + Co. KG uses the technical platform and services of LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, Wilton Place, Grand Canal Dock, Dublin 2, Ireland (referred to as "LinkedIn") for the information service offered. You can view all information on the data protection provisions of LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company at

We would like to point out that you use this LinkedIn fan page and its functions on your own responsibility. This applies in particular to the use of the interactive functions (e.g. commenting, sharing, rating). Alternatively, you can also access the information offered via this page on our website at

1. Data collection and processing

When you visit our LinkedIn fan page, LinkedIn automatically collects information about you, including your IP address and other information. This collection process is independent of whether or not you have a LinkedIn account. Likewise, it does not matter whether you are logged into your account or not. What information is collected and processed by LinkedIn is described in detail in the privacy policy at

2. Legal basis and purpose of use

The legal basis for processing and the purposes for which your data is used can be found in detail at (sections 2 and 5.3). You can control the use of your data through certain account settings. You can find more information about this at

3. Sharing of data

Depending on your account settings, data collected about you may be processed by LinkedIn and, in the process, may be transferred to third parties, including to countries outside the European Union. For more information on the transfer of your data to third parties, please visit (section 3).

4. Tracking and analysis

4.1 Assignment to the LinkedIn account

When you access a LinkedIn page, the IP address assigned to your end device is transmitted to LinkedIn. According to LinkedIn, this IP address is anonymized (for "German" IP addresses) and deleted after 90 days. LinkedIn also stores information about the end devices of its users (e.g. as part of the "login notification" function); LinkedIn may thus be able to assign IP addresses to individual users.

If you are currently logged in to LinkedIn as a user, a cookie with your LinkedIn identification is located on your end device. This enables LinkedIn to track that you have visited this page and how you have used it. This also applies to all other LinkedIn pages.

You can find more information about this at

Via LinkedIn buttons embedded in websites, it is possible for LinkedIn to record your visits to these websites and assign them to your LinkedIn profile. Based on this data, content or advertising can be offered tailored to you.

If you want to avoid this, you should log out of LinkedIn or deactivate the "stay logged in" function, delete the cookies present on your device and exit and restart your browser. In this way, LinkedIn information through which you can be directly identified will be deleted.

This allows you to use our LinkedIn page without revealing your LinkedIn identifier. When you access interactive features of the site (like, comment, share, news, etc.), a LinkedIn login screen will appear. After any login, you will again be recognizable to LinkedIn as a specific user.

4.2 Web tracking via Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies". Cookies are text files that are stored on your terminal device and that enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookies about your use of this website (including your shortened IP address) is transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google's behalf. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.

If you have consented to the use of cookies and you wish to object to this at a later date, you can do so by installing a so-called add-on in your browser. To do this, you can follow the following link, which will take you to the Google page: Alternatively, you can revoke your consent by deleting your browser settings and clicking on our overlay cookie banner again.
