WEINMANN Emergency has completed the development phase of its MEDUVENT Standard turbine-driven ventilator. The new software package includes a fresh design as well as an extended range of functions. The new user interface takes users through the application even better, helping them to concentrate on the most important thing – the patient.
The new software package also contains more setting parameters, new menus and new measured values – such as the adjustable inspiratory trigger, adjustable pressure support and frequency measurement. Settings for both the device and the alarm can be made using the new user menu. In combination with measured value f(fsp), frequency monitoring gives a better overview of the patient’s respiratory activity. Two extra ventilation modes, CPAP + PS and PRVC + PS, are available as options. This combination takes MEDUVENT Standard to the next level.
