WEINMANN Emergency is now also part of the Ventilator Training Alliance (VTA). The partnership was initiated by several of the world's leading ventilator manufacturers in cooperation with Allego to help combat COVID-19.

The Alliance focuses on the provision of instructional material on ventilators via a mobile app. Now, within a few clicks, medical staff can access training videos, guides, and instructions for use of ventilators from various manufacturers. Ventilators are used as an essential form of treatment for patients with COVID-19 induced respiratory distress. The app is designed to help users to promptly operate devices that they have not previously worked with.

In this humanitarian training partnership, WEINMANN Emergency has been joined by Dräger, GE Healthcare, Getinge, Hamilton Medical, Medtronic, Nihon Kohden and Philips.
