Marketing Manager at Weinmann Emergency

Voluntary activities are more than just a hobby – they are a way of life. You assume social responsibility and help people. This is an attitude to life that Kira shares: she has been working for the volunteer fire service for several years.

Again and again, this offers her advantages in her daily working life as Junior Marketing Manager. This not only means that she understands in which situations the devices are used. She also appreciates how important the devices are in saving human lives. “The great thing about WEINMANN Emergency is that I spend every day surrounded by people who have the same attitude to life as I do. First of all, there are the users, who try to save people’s lives on a daily basis. And then there are my colleagues, who work hard every day to make our products even better,” explains Kira.

Hobby and career combined

Things were set in motion when a job advertisement for WEINMANN Emergency was suggested to her on LinkedIn. While starting a job in times of the coronavirus was difficult and stressful for many graduates and young professionals, Kira can only report the opposite with regard to her application phase: “Once I had applied online, the recruiter called me relatively soon after and kindly asked whether I was still interested in the job. I was and so I had the opportunity for a personal meeting.” The communal and open atmosphere at WEINMANN Emergency was already apparent from the first meeting. “Because of the coronavirus, this meeting took place online. I was able to get to know some of my colleagues and gain a good impression of my position. Furthermore, I felt greatly appreciated as a person and with regard to my resume up to that point,” finds Kira.

“The spider in the web”

Kira works in the Marketing and Portfolio Management department at WEINMANN Emergency. Here, she is responsible for managing projects for the market launch of new medical devices. In addition, she creates the product marketing plan and defines the launch package in close coordination with Product Management, Marketing Communication, and Sales. “I really enjoy this sense of being an interface. Because I receive a lot of information from different departments that I must implement in a marketing context, my colleagues sometimes call me the spider in the web.” In her job, it is important to think outside the box sometimes and to always remain curious. Personal exchange with customers and colleagues helps her to develop the right strategies. For Kira, however, the atmosphere within the company has a significant influence on her daily working life: “You feel comfortable at WEINMANN Emergency. And someone who feels comfortable will work well. For this reason, I would recommend anyone to apply here. On the very first day, this open and warm vibe makes you feel as if you have already been here for a long time. You are included right away.”
